Your consultation includes up to 2 hours of dedicated in-home time with Principal Designer, Kari Skoog. This is an opportunity to discuss your vision, understand your personal style, and establish the scope of your project.
During our time together, we’ll walk through your space, take initial measurements, and discuss ideas for layout, furnishings, finishes, and your overall design aesthetic. Most importantly, this is your time to ask questions, share ideas, and get professional guidance on your project.
Please note that the consultation fee is non-refundable and is not applied toward future design services or hours.
We love incorporating meaningful heirlooms, antiques, and existing furnishings when they complement your design goals. We’ll thoughtfully evaluate each piece to determine how it can work within the overall design, while keeping in mind that not every item may be the right fit for the finished space.
Yes. We’re happy to collaborate with your preferred contractor; however, we have established relationships with trusted, vetted professionals we know and work with regularly. Our preferred contractors are familiar with our design process and expectations, which helps ensure a seamless experience from design through construction.
When working with a contractor selected by the client, additional design time may be required for communication, coordination, and project oversight. This time is billed at our standard design rate.
We absolutely love when our clients choose to continue working with us on other areas of their home—it’s one of the greatest compliments we can receive!
If you’d like to expand your project, we’ll first complete the work outlined in your initial scope. Any additional spaces or services will then be placed under a new contract with a new start date.
Through years of experience, we’ve found that focusing on one scope of work at a time creates a more enjoyable and manageable experience for our clients. It allows us to give each space the attention it deserves while making it easier to manage your overall investment and keep the project moving forward with intention.
Our designs are brought to life through a distinctive mix of furnishings, textiles, lighting, and accessories sourced from our trusted trade partners. We travel to both the Las Vegas and High Point markets to discover new collections, nurture vendor relationships, and stay connected to the evolving world of design. This allows us to bring our clients thoughtfully selected pieces that feel distinctive, personal, and timeless.
Over the years, we’ve cultivated strong relationships with our trusted vendors, allowing us to offer competitive pricing on the pieces we source for your project. We also take care of the entire purchasing process—from ordering and coordination to delivery—so everything arrives seamlessly and with less for you to manage.
Our prices are competitive with retail. If we’re unable to offer a better price than retail, we’ll always be transparent and provide you with the information you need to purchase the piece directly.
Every project is unique, but a typical full-service furnishing project takes approximately 4–7 months from design through installation.
The design phase generally takes 4–6 weeks, depending on the scope and complexity of the project. Once the design is approved, furnishings are ordered, and any necessary work begins, we’ll provide estimated production and delivery timelines from our vendors. Lead times can range from 12–20 weeks or longer, depending on the individual pieces and current availability.
Once your home is ready for furnishings, we’ll coordinate every detail of your installation—from delivery and placement to the finishing touches—so that everything comes together seamlessly for your big reveal.
Renovations and new construction naturally require a longer timeline and can take a year or more, depending on the scope of work, construction schedule, and other factors.
Lead times vary depending on the type of product, whether it is custom-made, and current vendor schedules. Many of our wholesale and select retail furnishings require 6–10 weeks or longer for production, followed by approximately 2–3 weeks for shipping and delivery.
Custom drapery and pillows typically require 4–6 weeks for production once all fabrics have been received, while upholstered furnishings can take approximately 8–12 weeks.
Because many of our furnishings are made to order and require significant lead times, we recommend scheduling your consultation early. This allows us to reserve time on our design calendar and plan your project around your desired completion date.
Absolutely. One of the most exciting parts of our full-service design experience is seeing everything come together on installation day.
We coordinate the white-glove delivery of your furnishings, schedule trusted professionals to hang curtains, artwork, and lighting, and are on-site to oversee the installation and bring every detail of the design together. From placing furniture to styling accessories, we take care of the finishing touches so your space is ready to enjoy—and ready for the big reveal.
Absolutely! We keep a sofa and chair from each of the lines we carry in our Design Studio so our clients can experience the quality and comfort firsthand—including a proper sit-test before making a purchase.
As a thank-you to our design clients, we also offer 15% off any piece purchased directly from our Design Studio floor.
Not at all! Our retail space is open for you to stop in, browse, and see what we have on the floor. You’re welcome to explore our furniture and accessories at your own pace.
If you’re looking for dedicated time with one of our designers to discuss your home, review materials, or explore design services, we recommend scheduling a design appointment so we can give you our undivided attention. We are available Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
